Manuka Honey Butter Banana Smoothie

“Can you make the honey butter smoothie?” Is what my kids always ask for..

Well, the answer is always YES. This smoothie is a history maker in our house. I crafted this recipe years ago when I was in highschool and it has evolved a little since then, but for the most part, it has remained quite similar. Tried and true! I use it on the days where I need a quick meal, or on one of those days where I feel like my kids haven’t had enough nutrients or eaten enough food. I feel like it is an all encompassing meal- high in protein too!

Manuka honey is a dense honey made from the manuka flower and it is used as a high immunity booster! I swear by this stuff. My kids also love manuka honey suckers too! It’s great to use in tea as well. If you are having a hard time finding this item, feel free to replace with any other honey that you have on hand!

This whole recipe is so great for your immune system on so many levels.. I love using pumpkin seeds for their protein and zinc factors and incorporating those into every day meals!

The salt, cinnamon and nutmeg combo percolate through and carry out all the flavors together and when you mix it with the honey and peanut butter, it creates a smooth and creamy sensation you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

I don’t have much else to say about this masterpiece, because it truly speaks for itself.. So give it a try and comment or message me with any questions!
